I love being apart of your most special day, witnessening and capturing it first hand. I love the in-between moments, where mom zips you in your dress and helps you put on the pearl necklace that she wore to her wedding. I urge my couples to come to engagement sessions with the mindset that we are going to spend an hour having fun and getting to know one another! I will guide you along while offering suggestions to keep things fun and interesting. Most poses aren’t as much poses as they are “prompts” that will lighten the mood, get you moving and most importantly, connecting with each-other. Engagement sessions are the perfect stress-free dry run of wedding day portraits, leaving you feeling like pros and so much more at ease when you imagine what your wedding day photos will be like. Added bonus - you have another beautiful set of photos to look back on to remember this most exciting time in your life. .

Let's make this official!

We have discussed the details, now lets get you on the calendar! A signed contract and retainer is required to hold your date. Keep and eye out for a custom planning guide upon booking!

Engagement Session

Let's plan your engagement session location and outfits! I will assist with finding the perfect location and can help with narrowing down the best outfits, too.

Your Wedding

The month before your wedding, we will discuss a final timeline as well as all of the must-have shots that are most important to you so that your wedding day will flow seamlessly!

FINAL GALLERY

Couples can expect their final gallery to be delivered within 8 weeks, but not to worry, I will be sure to share a few sneak peeks the week following the wedding!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All wedding dates are considered available and FCFS until I have a signed contract and deposit. I require a $1000 non-refundable retainer to secure your date. This blocks off your date and prevents me from booking any other weddings on your date! woo!

  • Great question! I will send a styling guide upon booking, but I usually recommend veering away from bright/neon colors. Neutrals(black, grey, tan, navy) and pastels look great with my editing style.

  • You will receive an online gallery of all of your images! You will use your download code provided to download and save your images. You are free to print from the gallery site or at any print store of your choice. Please don’t screen shot your images! It really compromises the quality.

  • For sessions, the final amount is due on the day of our session.

    For weddings, the first half of the package will be due upon booking and is non-refundable. The remainder must be paid in full 30 days prior to the wedding date.

  • Cash, Check, PayPal, Zelle or Credit Card!

  • Please, please, please download and save your images in multiple places! I always recommend saving on a USB, computer, phone, etc. AS WELL AS an online storage site. Amazon photos, google photos, dropbox and smug mug are all great choices.

  • 7 years! I have been full time for over 3 years now and I am so grateful!

  • I will carefully sort through and edit the best images from our time together! You will receive the edited, high resolution jpeg images in your final gallery.

  • Approximately 75 photos per hour of coverage will be delivered in your final wedding gallery.

  • For sessions, turnaround is 7-10 business days. Weddings take up to 10 weeks, but usually around 6 weeks is average.

    Danielle's photos are absolutely beautiful and really convey the emotion of the day. She is also very experienced and was able to give advice on timeline planning. On the day of the event, she was great at posing everyone and being around without being too in your face. She was friendly, but unobtrusive. Her candids were amazing too. I barely remember seeing her or the second photographer at some point during the ceremony and reception. I really appreciated that she was able to take pictures while still giving some space for the sacred and personal moments. She was also super about pulling us aside for posed shots we specifically wanted. I cherish our wedding photos as one of the best investments of the whole wedding. Through Danielle's eyes I got to see little moments I missed on the day of. She is very observant and good at capturing those fast-moving moments of emotion within relationships. She got beautiful photos of our reception and really captured the spirit of the party. I love my photos so much because they really feel like how my wedding day felt.
